A Yorkshire firm based on the outskirts of Bradford is seeing nationwide interest from the trade sector after launching their new homecare technology.
Securahomes, which develops homecare safety systems, including monitored carbon monoxide detectors, fire and smoke alarms and intruder detectors, is being inundated from electricians and alarms installers from across the country wishing to join their National Approved Installer Network.
Martin Mann, Founder and Managing Director of Securahomes states: “Our technology is only available to the trade and since we launched our National Approved Installer Network, we have witnessed an overwhelming number of applications from electricians and alarm installers wishing to join.”
So far, Securahomes has received enquiries from across the United Kingdom, including Yorkshire, the West Midlands and even parts of Scotland. “The response has been fantastic! The number of enquiries we have received is very encouraging and will help support our goal of becoming the UK’s best homecare technology innovator” added Martin.
Although Securahomes has no like-for-like competition for its technology, the UK’s alarm market is estimated to be worth well over £100 million. In the UK alone there are around 18 companies offering homecare alarm systems, but only 1 or 2 who offer 24/7 monitored detection and protection from fire, smoke, intruder and carbon Monoxide. The technology from Securahomes however, is seen as a more advanced system, offering round-the-clock panic assistance, medical alarm for those more likely to suffer accidents in and around the home, and, home alone assistance 24/7.
The National Approved Installer Network enables trades people to take advantage of geographical regions up and down the country. Those who achieve approved status are given business support services, such as sales training, marketing and business planning. However, in order to become an approved installer each applicant has to guarantee their commitment to excellent customer service.
